France: One of the Top 4 European Energy Storage Markets

France is forced to increase its share of renewable energy generation. The French government´s goal is to decrease nuclear energy production from 75% to 50% of the electricity mix by 2025. The transition from a highly centralized to a more decentralized production and network system requires massive investments in residential energy efficient measures, smart metering, transmission and distribution of electricity. Hence, energy storage will be increasingly useful and play a vital role within this process.

According to EuPD Research, France deployed a total of approx. 23 MWh of energy storage in 2017 of which the lion’s share was generated by utility scale projects. However, also the residential segment is showing surging demand – with more than 2,000 systems to be installed in 2018, a growth of over 40% is estimated compared to installations in the previous year.

Your unique chance: Valuable local and international contacts

Our sponsors, exhibitors, members and conference delegates, representing various decision-makers across the renewable energy supply chain (i.e. manufacturers, wholesalers, installers, investors, developers, EPC, OEMs, consultants), follow the major goal of mutually developing strategies and solution based approaches to secure a green and sustainable future.

Don’t miss the valuable opportunity to meet with local market intermediaries and international industry stakeholders along the entire value chain and voice your opinion on what is truly needed to grow business from the grass roots up.

We would be delighted to welcome you in person!
